Yes, you read that right, wolves.
On New Year's Eve (day), I popped over to the Lakota Wolf Preserve and spent half the day there shooting. It's a truly fun and informative experience, so if you're ever in that part of NJ, you should try to stop in.

I will be making more trips here, if for no other reason than to enjoy the site of these wolves that remind me so much of the "wolves" I have at home.
We were just about to leave when one of the guides started calling each of them by name. She was answered by a chorus of howls from up to 40 wolves. One of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard, naturally.

La Bella Luna -- Part 2
As promised...
I think you'll notice a marked difference in these shots.
I have to tell you, I was downright giddy that these came out the way I was hoping.
These next shots were taken as the sun was setting. I wanted to get some pictures of the sunset from Camelback Mountain and just happen to catch the moonrise at the same time. Facing east, sunset to my right, moonrise to my left. I was back and forth and having the time of my life. These I took more for the colors in the sky, the moon was a plus.
By Jove, I think I've got it!
